Position Summary

Handles, organizes, assembles, and documents medical device components used on endoscopes. Must have a strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to use fine motor skills to assemble components. Will work within a small production team inside an ISO 8 clean room environment to ensure quality and productivity goals are met or exceeded.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify correct components, and maintain high levels of accuracy and organization
  • Assembly by hand of precision mechanical, medical components under clean room conditions and in compliance with the necessary manufacturing specifications
  • Use correct adhesives / primers to assemble components. Record correct LOT numbers (critical to assembly).
  • Sterilize workstation and disinfect according to work instructions. This is done at the start of shift, during shift, weekly and monthly to prevent contamination.
  • Clean, disinfect, and sterilize clean room on regular schedule according to work instructions.
  • Maintain verification documents to ensure the highest quality of Ovesco products
  • Print work orders and assemble required components daily to achieve production plan.
  • Monitor inventory levels on components and consumables to ensure there are no production interruptions.
  • General plant duties as assigned by the production manager or management.
  • Comply with company quality objectives. Ensure quality and accuracy of products.
  • Continuous improvement of own work area and optimization of the corresponding processes.
  • Facilitate a work environment that supports a Safe and Healthy Culture. Comply with Safety Laws and Regulations and use of Safety Equipment
