Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting efficient warehouse operations through accurate inventory management, safe material handling, and timely order fulfillment. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and strong collaboration skills to ensure smooth daily processes and adherence to safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory by arranging stock systematically. Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Heavy Lifting & Material Handling:
- Safely lift, carry, and move heavy materials within the warehouse, following proper handling procedures to minimize risk of injury or damage.
Loading & Unloading Shipments:
- Efficiently load and unload goods from trucks, verifying that items match order specifications and are correctly labeled.
Order Fulfillment Assistance:
- Pick, pack, and prepare products for delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in fulfilling customer orders.
Collaboration with Warehouse Supervisor:
- Communicate issues or discrepancies promptly and assist in problem-solving to improve overall warehouse performance.
Packaging & Shipment Preparation:
- Securely package materials for shipment, adhering to company and client specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Careful Handling of Materials:
- Handle all products with care during storage, movement, and transportation to prevent damage.
WMS & Netsuite Utilization:
- Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Netsuite to track inventory movements, update records, and maintain accurate documentation of stock levels and shipments.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Familiarity with WMS and Netsuite systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
