Position Summary
We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Front Desk Receptionist /Medical Assistant to be a part of our thriving practice! We are a multi-disciplinary gastroenterology, nutrition & wellness center with gastroenterologists, functional dieticians, iv drip therapists and clinic researchers all working together.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage front desk duties such as meeting and greeting patients, booking appointments, cash handling, dealing with phone and email inquiries, and general administrative tasks.
- Insurance verification
- Maintain and improve clinic flow within the practice.
- Manage internal & external events and promotions.
- Understand and value your role in the healthcare sector. It requires compassion, professionalism and discretion as you deal with various people.
- Work well under pressure and be able to multitask.
- Providing an excellent client experience.
- Manage and record data on patient visits, invoicing and explanation of benefits to patients.
- Everyday is different so you must be dynamic, proactive and able to think quickly on your feet.

Education & Experience
- Sales experience, retail or otherwise (not required but advantageous).
- Customer service experience
- Strong command of English (verbal and written).
- Excellent IT skills particularly using the MS Office Suite and patient management software - training will be provided.
