Position Summary

A leading acute care hospital is seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee the Medical ICU. This individual will provide operational and clinical leadership, ensuring patient-centered, high-quality care while fostering a collaborative and accountable team environment. The Nurse Manager will manage staffing, workflow, and performance within the unit, aligning with organizational goals and regulatory standards.This is a key leadership role for a collaborative and experienced ICU nurse manager ready to guide a high-performing critical care team.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct ICU operations and nursing care
• Collaborate with medical staff and leadership to optimize patient care and safety
• Develop policies, procedures, and programs to enhance quality, efficiency, and outcomes
• Lead, coach, and mentor ICU staff, promoting engagement and professional growth
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, quality metrics, and patient care protocols
• Monitor staffing, budget, and resource allocation within the ICU

Education & Experience

• 2+ years of recent critical care leadership experience (ICU preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; advanced degree preferred
• Current RN license in Texas (or compact license)
• BLS and ACLS certification
• CCRN and/or CNRN preferred
