Position Summary

The Systems Training Specialist is responsible for the critical role of training conversion clients on the payroll software. Activities include scheduling training sessions, performing training sessions, and working with the conversion team to handle client needs relating to payroll processing. You will coordinate with the AVP of Conversions to ensure that we meet the client's deadlines. This position requires a detailed individual with strong communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Scheduling web-based training sessions with clients
  • Tracking and reporting client concerns with the conversion team
  • Identify problems and make recommendations on how to overcome the issues.
  • Ensure that client is confident that all data is migrated to the current platform accurately.
  • Perform detailed client training on payroll and HR functions within the employee portal.
  • Contacting clients via email and calls to ensure training is scheduled prior to final conversion date.
  • Making system level changes to client profiles based on individual needs.
  • Other duties as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Training experience
  • Prior experience with payroll software/applications a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Payroll/HR experience helpful
  • Must be able to perform in a team orientated, deadline driven environment

 Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Familiarity with providing web-based training, communications, and general payroll knowledge.
  • Knowledge of general database design and usage (especially relational databases), and all other Microsoft Office products.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as attention to detail
