Position Summary

As a Sales Technician, you are a vital member of the team, combining technical expertise with customer-focused sales skills. You will be responsible for both servicing HVAC systems and proactively generating sales by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions. This hybrid role requires a dynamic individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, is self-motivated, and committed to delivering exceptional service and results.

You will visit customer homes to assess HVAC needs, perform installations, maintenance, and repairs, and present system replacement options. You will also participate in lead generation activities and maintain strong relationships with clients, exemplifying the code of values: Respect, Integrity, and Customer Focus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Visit customer homes to assess HVAC needs and recommend system replacements.
  • Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration, heating, and air conditioning systems.
  • Perform heat gain and loss calculations and complete necessary paperwork (agreements, finance documents, installation notes, rebate forms).
  • Collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed.
  • Maintain company vehicles and equipment in clean and good working order.
  • Attend networking events, home shows, and community events for lead generation.
  • Make outbound calls and receive incoming calls in a professional manner.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings and coaching sessions.
  • Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required.
  • Perform other duties as needed, including cross-training in related positions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of word processing, business software, and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Professional appearance and personality.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends to accommodate customer availability.

Education & Experience

  • Valid State Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • CFC Certification and residential HVAC & refrigeration knowledge.
  • Service Titan Experience
  • Prior industry experience is a plus.
