Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and compassionate Activities Assistant with a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification to join our team. The Activities Assistant will help plan, coordinate, and lead recreational programs and activities that promote the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our residents

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and leading daily recreational activities for residents, including games, arts & crafts, music, exercise, social events, and special programs.
  • Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one activities as needed.
  • Support the development of activity calendars and maintain records of resident participation.
  • Collaborate with the Activities Director and other team members to tailor programs to resident interests and abilities.
  • Help transport residents to and from activity areas safely.
  • Ensure activities are conducted in a safe and enjoyable manner.
  • Provide assistance with resident care as needed, utilizing CNA skills.
  • Support special facility events, family gatherings, and holiday programs.
