Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ocean Logistics.
- Request Ocean Freights.
- Track containers on website/phone via booking #, Container #, ship name, etc.
- Bill of Lading generation.
- Forwarding Experience o Compare rates quoted to that billed.
- Inland Logistics.
- Tracking via website/phone.
- Schedule Pick Ups.
- Follow Up.
- Obtain Inland Freight Rates.
- Compare rates quoted to that billed.
- Request costs from suppliers.
- If needed request cost of Inland Freights online or via email.
- Send Cost and Freights to Salesperson to quote.
- If receive order:
- Enter Sales Order.
- Send Purchase Order to supplier.
- Follow up Purchase Order until arrival.
- Schedule Pick up with Inland Carrier if needed.
- Obtain Warehouse Documents if required.
- Schedule Ocean or Air Shipment.
- Send all pertinent information for shipment.
- Generate Customer Documentation.
- Invoice.
- Packing List.
- SLI (Shipper's Letter of Instruction) Generation.
- Bill of Lading Draft Generation.
- Safety Data Sheet.
- Certificate of Origin (if required).
- Certificate of Analysis.
- Any other miscellaneous documents required.
- Send documents to customer via emai.
- Based on performance more responsibilities may be offered.

- Common Sense.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Hard Working.
- Sense of Urgency and prioritization.
- Good Verbal Communication Skills.
- Does not have fear to use a phone to call customers, suppliers and logistics providers.
- Proactive.
- Phone skills.
- Go getter.
- Excel strong.
Education & Experience
- HAZMAT certificate a plus.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish are a must.
- Brazilian Portuguese is a plus.
