Essential Duties and Responsabilities
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategy development.
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Set up and maintain cost controls, monitoring expenses and improving cost efficiency across departments.
- Collaborate with various teams to provide financial insights and support operational decisions.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Maintain and improve financial processes, systems, and reporting tools.
- Manage New Market Tax Credit (NMTC) compliance requirements.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in manufacturing or food production.
- CPA certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks.
