Business Development Manager - TX - On Site

Position Summary
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for securing clients and generating job orders for the Staffing Supervisors to fill.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Protect and promote the brand, image, and reputation of the Company while striving to exceed the needs and expectations of our clients and employees.
- Responsible for building and maintaining client relationships to continually increase sales.
- Collaborate with coworkers to develop sales strategies and enhance service offerings to new and existing client clients.
- Effectively market and sell our services to potential clients including but not limited to making regular daily and weekly marketing calls to a variety of industries and sources.
- Able to source and recruit high quality candidates for placement while building and maintaining a network of contacts to build an active and robust pipeline.
- Establish and maintaining community contacts through community involvement and organizations; and performing other duties as assigned.
- Work within strict ethical guidelines and with a service mentality in all conduct, communications, and actions.
- Participate in projects and duties associated with our overall sales and marketing efforts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be a highly self-motivated, money-motivated, goal-focused individual who is proactive and enjoys meeting new people and networking.
- Provides regular communication with internal and external customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Intermediate computer knowledge and particularly comfortable and proficient with Excel and calculating different types of markups.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Has strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Maintains complete confidentiality of all business matters of the company.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently while demonstrating good common sense and sound judgment.
- Flexibility to adapt to all situations and work varied hours; possibly work weekends or evenings.
- Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. College Degree (Associates or Bachelors) from an accredited College or University in Business or related field preferred. Three years hands-on business development, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Compensation package that includes a highly competitive salary and both monthly commission and quarterly performance bonus components.
- This position is full time and will require 50% of the time in the field and 50% in the office. Sales is expected to come in Monday through Friday at 8:00am and return to the office after appointments by 4:00pm each day.
- Knowledge of business office operations and business development functions preferred.
- Adheres to Company Handbook and serves as a role model within and outside the company while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
- Able to read, write, and fluently speak English.
- Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.
- Consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of position.
