Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications
• Execute finishing and painting tasks on millwork components according to project specifications
• Prepare surfaces, apply primers, paints, and finishes using appropriate techniques
• Inspect and touch up finished millwork to ensure quality and consistency
• Collaborate with the design team to achieve the desired aesthetic results
• Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools
• Assist in other labor tasks as needed
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks
• Work on various shifts to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in millwork finishing and painting
• Knowledge Base: Strong knowledge of millwork materials, techniques, and installation best practices. Proficient in various finishing techniques, priming, and painting applications. Knowledge of different types of paints, stains, and finishes
• Shift Availability: Flexibility to work on all shifts based on project requirements
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks associated with carpentry
• Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required
• Problem solving abilities desired but not required
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team to achieve project goals.
• Experience with environmental and safety regulations related to finishing processes desired but not required.
