Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with team members to develop and manage media buys across mediums, including Broadcast, Traditional / Programmatic OOH and Print
  • Managing buys and post buys
  • Monitor media for pacing, delivery, placement, and negotiates rates
  • Lead media projects with limited day-to-day supervision
  • Assist in media strategy development and overall direction
  • Deep understanding of every local market and ability to identify opportunities unique to each • Strategic thinking in providing rationales & POVs as well as demonstrating and ability to make sound recommendations
  • Provide valuable insights for clients to help shape their current/future media plans
  • Ability to be client facing
  • Responsible for the preparation of insertion orders and placement of advertising with media vehicle, as applicable.
  • Manage the day-to-day implementation, optimization, and performance of campaign activities including authorizations, budgets, and the reconciliation process
  • Analyze and provide clients with research data and media/marketing information as well as strategic analysis of campaigns
  • Monitor media buys to ensure all brand safety, ad fraud, and viewability standards are met or exceeded
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, publishers and the client's creative resources to ensure an effective creation and implementation of campaigns
  • Effectively manage time and responsibilities in regards to deadlines and client needs
  • Research and record trends, innovations, and changes that affect media buying
  • Maintains media flowcharts, budgets and performance reports
  • Compiles and analyzes marketing, consumer and competitive data

Requirements

  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
  • 3+ years media-related/agency experience.
  • Experience buying through Strata.
  • You build great relationships with clients, vendors, and reps.
  • Strong negotiation skills and successful track record in the media buying space.
  • Establish trust and credibility with clients and vendors.
  • Ability to deliver client-facing presentations
