Position Summary

We are seeking a visionary Director of eCommerce to lead our digital growth initiatives. Reporting directly to company ownership, this role presents an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of our eCommerce business and drive substantial revenue expansion. Our eCommerce business is currently running at mid 6 figures and we are looking for someone who has the ambition and ability to take this to 8 figures in the next 3-5 years. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in fashion eCommerce, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record of scaling digital businesses. As the Director of eCommerce, you'll play a pivotal role in elevating our online presence and driving sales through innovative marketing strategies. This position requires a hands-on approach and a willingness to dive into both marketing and eCommerce operations to replicate our existing success and propel us to the next level.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap to significantly expand our eCommerce business, leveraging our strong retail presence in Los Angeles to amplify our online footprint.
  • Lead the development and execution of innovative marketing, merchandising, and operational strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance customer experiences in the digital space.
  • Oversee the integration of eCommerce initiatives with existing retail operations, ensuring alignment and synergy across all channels.
  • Collaborate closely with company leadership to align eCommerce initiatives with broader business objectives and priorities, driving cross-channel growth and success.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation in the fashion eCommerce space.
  • Drive a culture of innovation and experimentation, constantly seeking new ways to optimize performance and exceed business goals.
  • Build and lead a high-performing eCommerce team, fostering collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
  • Organize and facilitate photoshoots to get our merchandise ready for sale online.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in eCommerce marketing and operations, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
  • Proficiency in Shopify administration and management, including product catalog management, collections, and theme customization.
  • Prior experience using digital marketing platforms including Klayvio, Instagram & Google.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and channels, including email marketing, social media marketing, and digital advertising.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, website optimization, and digital marketing channels.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or equivalent work experience.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a willingness to take ownership of projects and drive results
