Board Certified Behavior Analyst - FL - On Site

Position Summary

Looking for a BCBA/BCABA who can work both independently assessing pediatric patients and with a team as an effective supervisor of a group of RBTs (Registered Behavior Technicians).

This is a full-time, on-site 1099 position with room for growth and expansion. It involves assessing the behaviors of children with developmental disabilities, designing treatment programs, modifying behaviors, conducting parent education, and providing psychological interventions. The role also includes behavior management and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creating and implementing initial assessments and reassessments
  • Providing parent and caregiver training to guardians and educators
  • Supervising RBTs for the amount of time specified on the assessment
  • Giving guidance and support to the behavioral team within the setting

Qualifications

  • Looking for a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills that can interact with a team of therapists and educators in an academic setting.
  • Expertise in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Experience in Parent Education and Psychology
  • Strong skills in Behavior Management
  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCABA)
  • Experience working with children with developmental disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred
  • Having additional training or certification in areas such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), early childhood education, or special education, as well as the ability to speak multiple languages, would be beneficial qualifications
