Position Summary

Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through networking, channel partners and self- generated opportunities. Execute aggressive prospecting strategies to gain access to key decision makers within a prospective client's organization. Maintain ownership of the entire sales cycle including post sale/implementation processes. Negotiate pricing and scope-of- service with prospective client. Complete required sales paperwork and finalize terms of the client service agreement. Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecast. Accomplish monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals assigned by management. Mentors and develops new Business Consultants in their prospecting and sales efforts. Team sells opportunities developed by business consultant to improve business strategies and results. Acts as a resource to new hires and supports regional manager in sales initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Generate new business in designated territory

• Analysis, planning and implementation of products and services targeting client needs

• Be a student of the industry knowledgeable of new products and services as well as broker practices and trends

• Meets or exceeds monthly and quarterly sales quota

• Oversee renewal proposals and processes for current clients

• Prepare executive summaries for client presentations

• Schedules ongoing meetings with clients to address questions and concerns during implementation

• Data collection to provide guidance and direction on product and services, marketing and sales, and other areas related to general business.

• Develop lead generation and utilize CRM (Salesforce) to track activity

• Take ownership for the accuracy, timeliness and efficiency of all services for assigned clients

• Attend monthly consulting meetings and offer training and coaching for staff

• Giving information about Client techniques that will help in increasing production.

• Discuss strategies with teammates and leaders to deliver the best solutions for the projects

• Provides guidance and direction on initiative planning, client relationship management, vendor relations, product and services, marketing and sales, and other areas related to general business.

• Provides recommendations regarding best business practices and strategy.

• Collaborates with consulting team members and other staff to bolster the organization's marketplace strategy.

• Analyzes internal data to identify organizational weaknesses and subsequently formulates solutions to address them.

• Developing cordial professional relationship with other experts in the field to get the maximum information on existing business trends.

• Follow market trends to develop a brand and make improvements in existing products and services

• They must be versatile and deal with clients from various walks of life

• They must have good communication skills, both written and verbal

• Long hours are quite common in this field, and hence they business consultants must be able to deal with stress and work under pressure

• Excellent presentation and leadership skills to motivate team members.

Education & Experience

• 3-5 years experience of PEO sales

• Minimum 1 quarter in President's Club attainment

• High School diploma, Some college preferred
